Before we harness the power of Charge GPT to create our CV, it is necessary to gather all the information we need. If you have an older version of your CV, it will come in handy as a reference. However, if you don’t have a CV ready, you can generate some sections using Charge GPT, except for education which you should fill in manually. You can download a free Microsoft Word template from the link provided in the description below.
To start using Charge GPT, you need to access the Charge GPT interface on the OpenAI website. Create an account if you don’t have one, or log in if you already have an account. Once logged in, you’ll be greeted by Charge GPT’s beautiful interface.
To create a new chat, politely ask Charge GPT for its help in crafting a professional CV. You can use the following prompt: ‘HR GPT, I need your help to craft a professional CV. Can you assist me?’
Charge GPT will provide you with the key sections of a CV and tips to get started for each section. You can use the provided template to organize your CV. The key sections that Charge GPT will help you with are the professional summary, work experience, education, skills, additional information, and references.
In the work experience section, you should include the company name, city, and country where you worked, followed by a brief company description. Then, list your job title, the duration of your employment, and your key responsibilities and achievements. You can use Charge GPT to generate key responsibilities and quantifiable achievements for each role.
In the education section, list your educational experience in reverse chronological order. Include the institution’s name, city, and country, as well as the name of the degree or certification, and the duration of your study. You can also add any projects, research, or publications related to your education.
In the skills section, list your most important skills that apply to the job or sector. Include both soft skills, such as problem-solving and leadership, and hard skills, such as programming languages and software knowledge. You can refer to the job description for the key skills required and ensure that you include them in your CV.
In the additional information section, you can add any relevant information that doesn’t fit into other sections. This can include languages, hobbies, professional memberships, or any other information that showcases your qualifications.
In the reference section, you can either list your references or indicate that they are available on request.
Finally, in the professional summary section, you can use Charge GPT to generate a summary based on your expertise, years of experience, and skills. Edit the generated summary to personalize it to your professional experience.
Once you have completed all the sections, review the content for any necessary adjustments, grammar accuracy, and ensure that the information reflects your qualifications. Fill in your personal information, such as your name, city, country, phone number, email, and LinkedIn profile.
After reviewing and editing your CV, you can save it as a PDF or print it out. With your professionally crafted CV, you can confidently take the next step towards your dream job. Say goodbye to CV headaches and hello to an innovative way of standing out in the job market.
