Creating a Lead Funnel for Marketing Agencies

Hello everyone, Julian Leahy here. In this video, we’re going to create a lead funnel for a marketing agency. Our target audience will be marketing agency owners. We will complete the entire process within 40 minutes using ChatGPT to write all the sales copy for the landing page and sales video.

To start, we need to ensure that ChatGPT understands our objective. We enter the prompt, ‘I am representing a company that provides lead generation for marketing agencies. Do you understand?’ ChatGPT confirms its understanding.

Next, we need to create value propositions to write compelling sales copy. A value proposition is the foundation of effective copywriting. We follow these steps to create a value proposition: identify the customer’s main problem, identify the benefits our product offers, describe what makes these benefits valuable, connect these values to the buyer’s problem, and differentiate ourselves as a preferred provider of this value. We ask ChatGPT to write 20 value propositions and select the most suitable one as the basis for our sales copy.

Moving on, we need to write sales copy for the landing page. We want to use a professional copywriting technique that will engage marketing agencies and encourage them to book a Zoom call. We provide ChatGPT with the prompt: ‘Write sales copy for a landing page using the value proposition of predictable growth. Use Unicode for emphasis. The objective of the landing page is to encourage marketing agencies to book a Zoom call where we can discuss their lead generation needs. Write in the style of great copywriters like Dan Kennedy.’ ChatGPT generates the sales copy, including the structure and recommendations for images and music.

Now, we move on to creating a script for a sales video. We provide ChatGPT with the prompt: ‘Create the script for a video sales letter. The format includes opening with a shocking statement, stating the problem and why it’s a big deal, agitating the problem, introducing the solution and credibility, proving what the viewer will get, providing specific reasons to act now, and closing.’ ChatGPT generates the script, which we can use for our sales video.

With the sales copy and script ready, we can now create the sales video. We add the video to our sales page and make sure it aligns with the copy.

Finally, we need to gather email addresses of marketing agency owners for our cold email campaign. We have a few options for this. We can use LinkedIn to search for marketing agency owners and extract their email addresses. We can also use Google My Business to find marketing agencies in specific locations and extract their contact information. Another option is to use a database to get a list of company names and their associated email addresses.

Once we have the email addresses, we can create a campaign and start sending emails to these marketing agency owners. Additionally, we can offer assistance and guidance in a private Zoom webinar, where we can work on landing pages, email campaigns, and other marketing strategies.
