Hi guys, welcome to my channel. This is Sarah, and today I have a very exciting tutorial for you. We are going to make a children’s activity book about finding objects. This educational activity book will help children learn to find objects that start with different letters. Let’s get started!
To create this activity book, we will be using Canva. We will create children’s book pages from various elements in Canva and construct images around the objects we want to highlight. We will start with the letter ‘A’ and create a page with objects that start with ‘A’. Then, we will continue this process for all the other letters.
Before we begin, let’s decide on the dimensions for our book. Since children’s books are usually large and require clear images, we will go for a trim size of 8.5 x 8.5 inches. Additionally, we will add a bleed of 0.25 inches to ensure the images extend to the edges of the page.
Now, let’s open Canva and create a custom design with the dimensions we decided. We will start with the letter ‘A’ and search for objects that start with ‘A’ in the living room. We will add a bookshelf, books, a bonsai tree, a ball, a basket, and building blocks. We will arrange these objects on the page and create a visually appealing image.
Once we have completed the page for the letter ‘A’, we can continue the same process for the other letters. We can add different objects that start with each letter and create engaging pages for children to explore.
After creating all the pages, we can design a book cover. We can use an image of a little investigator with binoculars and add a title such as ‘Little Investigator: Finding Objects’. We can also include a subtitle like ‘An Explorers Children’s Activity Book’.
Once we have finished designing the book, we can save it as a PDF with print settings, including crop marks and bleed. Then, we can upload the book to Amazon KDP and follow the steps to publish it.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on creating a children’s activity book about finding objects. It’s a fun and educational project that children will love. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to leave a comment. Happy creating!
