Crafting a Children's Storybook for Passive Income

Crafting a Children's Storybook for Passive Income

This kid’s storybook has raked in over 178 thousand dollars in passive income. In the upcoming video, I’ll walk you through how to kick start a similar project from brainstorming the book’s idea, shaping up the main content, to designing top-tier illustrations, all by tapping into the power of AI technology. If the thought of earning passive income piques your interest, stick around until the end as this video is loaded with exclusive tips that you won’t find anywhere else.

While browsing Amazon for potential passive income opportunities for my business, I stumbled upon a children’s storybook. Now, you might ask, what’s the big deal? But when I dug into the details, I was stunned by the profits that these sellers were raking in from such a simple storybook.

Take this book, for instance. It has 2603 ratings and a price tag of $2.47, which means that this seller has bagged over six thousand dollars from this book alone. Here’s another one with 2193 ratings and priced at $11.90. It has brought in over 26 thousand dollars. And this one has made a whopping ninety-four thousand dollars. The best part? You can publish these books on Amazon KDP absolutely free.

So, I thought, why not craft a similar book using ChatGPT, get it published on Amazon, and earn some passive income even while I sleep? That’s why I decided to create this video to guide as many people as possible.

As you might be aware, the first step to creating a compelling storybook is to brainstorm a captivating story idea. So, I asked the chatbot to suggest a title for a children’s storybook. The first suggestion was ‘The Magical Garden,’ but it didn’t quite hit the mark. We needed something more thrilling. ‘The Magical Forest Adventure’ was better, but I knew we could do even better. Then came ‘Tommy and Timmy’s Epic Quest: The Search for the Lost Treasure.’ Now, that’s an exciting story that we can work with.

Next, I asked the chatbot for more specifics about the story. It turns out that the book is aimed at kids aged 5 to 8 and tells the tale of two young friends embarking on an exhilarating quest to find a lost treasure hidden in the jungle. I was really drawn to this concept, so I decided to proceed with it.

The following step was to sketch out the story. As you can see, the chatbot has produced the chapters, each one detailing the scenes. Chapter one: ‘Treasured Trinket,’ chapter two: ‘Parrot’s Prophecy,’ chapter three: ‘Monkey’s Mischief,’ chapter four: ‘Thieves’ Threat,’ and chapter five: ‘Heroes’ Homecoming.’ Now that we’ve got the story outline, it’s time to craft the actual story content based on the chapters.

Simply copy the first chapter, in my case ‘Treasured Trinket,’ paste it into the chat, and set the prompt to write a rhythmic story. Once it’s done, give it a read. If it doesn’t hit the mark, you can regenerate the answer until you’re satisfied. Repeat this process for all the chapters, and in just a few minutes, I had a full story ready to be transformed into a book that could rake in passive income, all without me having to write a single word.

It’s pretty wild how quickly we came up with the story idea, the chapters, and the story content. But believe me, the real excitement is yet to come. So, if you’re finding this video helpful so far, please don’t forget to hit that like button.

We all understand that even the most captivating story idea won’t cut it without engaging illustrations. And this is where you could easily shell out thousands of dollars for artists to create the artwork. But what if I told you that all the images you see on the screen were crafted using an AI art generator? Would you believe it?

You’ve probably heard of AI art and how it can produce unique images just from a few typed words. And that’s exactly what I did to complete the first chapter of my story. Let me walk you through that process.

When it comes to AI art generators, you’ve got plenty of choices. I’ve tested many of them and found that Mid-Journey offers the best user experience, in my view. You can give it a whirl for just $10 a month using the link beneath this video.

Once you’ve joined their Discord server, you can browse all of the recently created images. With millions of users, you’ll see that new images are being produced every second. To create your own image, you need to initiate a prompt. Start by typing a forward slash followed by ‘imagine.’ After that, you can start describing the image you want to create.

Now, go back to the story chapters that you generated earlier and copy the first one. For me, it was ‘Tommy and Timmy discover the map leading to the Lost Treasure.’

All right, now that we’ve determined the image that we want to create, we type forward slash, then ‘imagine,’ followed by your chapter topic. Once the image is generated, you’ll see two rows of buttons.

As you can see, the top row has U1, U2, U3, and U4. These buttons are for upscaling your chosen image, meaning it’ll generate a larger version of it. The bottom row with V1, V2, V3, and V4 creates four new variations that maintain the overall style and composition of your selected image.

So, to sum it all up, clicking on U1 will upscale the first image, and clicking on V1 will create new variations of the first image. In my case, I was happy with the first image, so I clicked on U1 to enlarge it. To save the image, right-click and open the link, then right-click again and save it to your device.

Next, let’s generate the second image for the chapter. They decide to go on an adventure to find the lost treasure. Now, I want to maintain the same style as my first image. So, here’s a handy trick. First, copy the image link, initiate the prompt, and paste the link before describing the new image. In this way, you can keep the style consistent.

I was drawn to the second version, so I clicked on U2 to enlarge it. I followed the same process for all of the images, and in about 30 minutes, I had all of the illustrations ready to go. I’m not going to repeat the process for all of the chapters as it would make this video too lengthy, but you get the gist.

Now that we’ve got the images, let’s dive into how to merge the text created with ChatGPT and the images crafted with Mid-Journey to assemble a professional-grade storybook.

First, navigate to canva.com and search for ‘storybook.’ Then, click on ‘create a blank storybook.’ Next, start by uploading the AI-generated images to Canva. Then, you can effortlessly drag and drop your first image into the template.

Now, head over to ChatGPT, copy the first segment of the story, and paste it onto your image. You can now tweak the text to your liking. You can alter the color, the font style, add some shadows, and more.

I’m a big fan of Canva because it’s user-friendly, doesn’t require any design skills, and, best of all, it’s free to use. When you’re finished, click here to duplicate the template. This will save you heaps of time as you can add the new image and text while the style stays consistent.

After that, all you have to do is repeat the same process for all the chapters of your book. And once you’re done, save the book as a PDF and print.

Congrats! You’ve successfully crafted your first storybook, and you’re just one step away from generating passive income. Publish your book on Amazon using the guide in the description box below.
