I’m blown away yet again by Chad GPT. Before I take you to the app and show you around and what it does and how it works, I just want to preface you with the actual problem that I had and why I even decided to actually build it. I built this app yesterday in about 17 minutes, and it was kind of mind-blowing because this stuff, while this app wouldn’t take somebody weeks, especially with some skill and experience, it could take a while. It could take hours or a day, and that could be enough to not even try to build it.
The problem I was originally trying to solve was making an Instagram reel. I wanted to make a script that would fit into the 90 seconds allotted for Instagram reels. I wanted to know if I was writing the script and I was ever getting close to the 90-second mark because I didn’t want to end up overwriting and then have all this wasted writing and my message not fit. I tried using online word counters, but it was a frustrating experience. So, I decided to build my own tool using Chad GPT.
I built a tool that automatically calculates the length of a script based on my reading speed. I can input my script, and it tells me how many seconds it will take to read. This way, I can ensure that my script fits within the 90-second limit. The tool also allows me to add images and notes for my editors, making the script creation process more efficient.
