Here we have the landing page for the free giveaway for the report, and we will discuss that in a second. In this video, I am going to talk about the next project. The next two projects are very similar in nature. They basically use the same business model but are in two different niches. It is basically to start a two-step funnel. There is a landing page with a giveaway of something for free in exchange for the visitor’s email. When they enter their email and hit the submit button, they end up on a thank you page that thanks them for signing up to get the freebie and sells an affiliate product. If they make the purchase, then we get paid a commission. This also gets the person on the email list so that I can nurture that list and provide more information about the topic and potentially promote other products down the road.
The topic of the first project is herbalism. The DIY space is a big thing online, with a lot of content flying around about woodworking, cooking, furniture restoration, and upcycling. So I thought, why not herbs? There is interest in growing and using herbs for medicinal purposes, remedies, and cooking. I like to grow them and use them myself, so I have an interest in it.
Now, let’s take a look at the site. Starting with how I used chatGPT to help me build the entire thing, mainly in the copywriting sense. I used chatGPT to come up with a versatile brand name, Botanic Boost. Then, I turned to chatGPT for the color scheme of the website and went with the herbal garden palette.
For the free report, I fed chatGPT the sales letter for the affiliate product and used its generated content to create the introduction, content about different herbs, and a conclusion for the report. I also used chatGPT to generate the sales page for the affiliate offer.
The two-step funnel starts with the landing page where visitors can download the free report in exchange for their email. After submitting their information, they are taken to a thank you page that provides the download link and offers the affiliate product. If they click on the offer, they are directed to the sales page tied to my ClickBank affiliate ID.
In the next video, I will talk about a similar site in a different niche. Stay tuned!
