As you guys are aware, there is an AI craze all over the world with people rushing to different solutions and coming up with new products. However, there is a lot of clutter out there. But Chatbase is a phenomenal tool that I stumbled upon several months ago. It is a great way to create a chatbot that is trained only on your data and uses embeddings to stay within the content of your data. This means it won’t veer off course or make up new content. It will only use what you have trained it on. The best part is that you can get up and running with it in under a minute. Let’s dive in and see how it works.
First, we need to create a new chatbot in Chatbase. You can feed it data by uploading files, copying and pasting text, connecting a website, or integrating it with your notion account. For this example, we will train it on the buildingonwp.com website. Once the data is set up, we can create the chatbot and start interacting with it.
Chatbase allows us to test our chatbot and see where it pulls the content from. It even shows the sources of the content. We can tweak the chatbot’s settings, such as its name and tone, to make it more personalized. Once we are satisfied with the chatbot, we can embed it on our website.
To embed the chatbot, we can use an iframe and place it on a page. We can also customize the appearance of the chatbot, such as its color and position. Once embedded, the chatbot is ready to use. Users can ask questions and receive responses based on the trained data.
