Beware of Scams: The Truth Behind Facebook and Instagram Ads

Beware of Scams: The Truth Behind Facebook and Instagram Ads

Really quick before I begin, hit the like button down below the thumbs up button. That will tell Google and YouTube that my video has value and credibility, and then my video might rise in Google search results. Your support could help someone see my video before they get scammed. You could stop someone from being scammed for hundreds or even thousands of dollars, and wouldn’t that be amazing? Let’s go straight to my screen.

This video is all about the fact that there are ads on Facebook and Instagram that claim that Elon Musk has done something with chatGPT that can allow your money to be invested and make you so much more money. But it’s a scam, don’t believe it.

As you can see here, I did a screen recording of one of the pages called Christina. It said there are only 100 free places left and that chatGPT turns two thousand dollars into five hundred thousand dollars fast. I mean, come on, talk about way too good to be true. If it’s at two thousand into four thousand or two thousand into five thousand, that would be a little more believable. They’re basically saying we’re gonna 250 times your money, and that is insane. And it does not 100% work like it says. As you can see in this post, it had 1,800 likes, 163 comments, and 243 shares. So this is not a small-time, it’s not massively viral, but it also doesn’t just have like five likes and one comment. I want to point that out.

Let’s go forward a little bit in my screen recording and see what I did. This is the Christina page. This might be a fake person, might be someone’s images being used without permission. And it claims that you’re gonna be able to invest your money and make 500 to 2,000 every day. Let’s scroll down and see how old this page is. It goes back to June 29, 2023, which is less than two months ago. So this looks like someone who’s real, and they’re using her photos without permission. So she has nothing to do with this, don’t believe that.

Next, let’s go back. There’s the Facebook profile ID and all that if you want to visit her page. And you go forward, here’s the ad, and it goes to mmm.baby. Join our group and let’s see. Whenever I went forward here and clicked on it, okay, I looked at the comments. The page creator, which again is probably a guy, is not a woman, says, ‘Join and start multiplying your wealth now.’ And it goes to a WhatsApp chat. Anytime there’s a financial promise in a Facebook or Instagram ad and you end up in a WhatsApp group chat, it’s 100% of the time going to be a scam. Don’t trust WhatsApp group chats that you did not plan on going into.

A few minutes before, there’s no one you know who’s in there because they’re gonna try to take your money. They’re gonna claim, ‘Oh no, we’re investing it. You gave us some of your money to the app we told you to download on another website that’s not available on the app store or the Google Play store. Just wait, we’re going to invest your money.’ That’s what they’re going to tell you. And then they’re going to keep trying to get more and more money from you. They’re gonna be like, ‘Oh, you gave us 400 bucks. We’ve already turned that into 100,000, but we should not take it out yet and give it back to you because we can invest more and you can make millions.’ And they’re going to keep trying to get money from you, and they’re not actually investing anything. Of course, they’re scammers.

These other comments here are likely scammers. ‘I love join two’ - that is not correct English. I want to do this without a photo. Karen, I don’t know, those are Karen’s images who are being used without permission as well. And it goes to the Herman’s investment team. Don’t trust WhatsApp group chats that lead you there from some sort of an ad that makes a crypto promise or an investment finance promise. It’s always going to be a scam. Did I get anything else here? There are the comments, there’s the ad. I went to the actual website here, and it says, ‘If you want to make yourself rich completely in 2023, you should learn how to invest in digital currency and earn high profits. Join our group.’ And it goes to the same Herman’s thing. If we click on it, it claims that BlackRock has something to do with this, and they don’t. They always like to include BlackRock. Unlock the power of AI, turn two thousand dollars into fifty thousand dollars in 30 days with our free crypto challenge.

And then I think, oh, here you go to the very bottom, and it had some fake chat, and it went to the Herman’s investment team from that website too. So the link where the Christina person was saying, ‘Visit the WhatsApp group chat,’ was the same link that’s on this website here. And it’s a scam. So avoid this thing.

If you want to know what Elon Musk is actually doing, visit official websites that you know and trust, especially his real and official Twitter feed. Be very careful with things you see online that say ’two thousand dollars into five hundred thousand dollars fast.’ If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. That’s always the best thing to remember with online offers.

I hope that my video here has saved one person from giving money to these WhatsApp group chats. If you did fall for it, I’m sorry to say you’re never going to see that money again. But I hope that you can at least stop giving money because of my video and now be able to warn other people about this sort of thing. Thank you so much for watching!
