All right guys, welcome to R Tip 68. Today, we’re going to explore how to automate Google Sheets with R using ChatGPT. I’ll guide you through the code and show you how to make the process fun and efficient. Stick around until the end for an exclusive live workshop where you can learn even more about ChatGPT with me.
To start, we’ll create a spreadsheet in Google Sheets that contains the R Tip 68 on automating Google Sheets. We’ll use ChatGPT to accomplish this. After setting up the spreadsheet, we’ll demonstrate how to use ChatGPT prompts to interact with the code.
Next, we’ll install the necessary packages and authenticate our Google Sheets account. Once authenticated, we’ll create a new sheet and store it as a data frame. We’ll then add data to the sheet and demonstrate how to locate a Google sheet by its ID or URL.
Throughout the process, we’ll encounter some common challenges with ChatGPT, such as hallucinated functions. I’ll provide solutions and tips to overcome these challenges.
In addition to this tutorial, I invite you to join a live webinar where I’ll cover ChatGPT for data scientists in more detail. I’ll share my personal experiences and mistakes, and help you break out of beginner mode. Register now to maximize your abilities with ChatGPT.
I hope you find this tutorial helpful. Stay tuned for more R tips and tricks. See you soon!
