Web searching is slowly changing from the days where you have to use complicated keywords and scan through multiple pages before you get an answer. Now, if you look at the top of this page, you would notice that Google is slowly integrating natural language into its algorithm, which is a very good development. In fact, they have a service called Search Generative Experience, which is currently in beta testing and combines generative AI with traditional web search in a whole different way.
The strength of ChatGPT is the fact that it can give you information beyond 2021. However, in this video, I’m going to show you five different ways you can browse the web in a similar fashion to ChatGPT and get access to updated information.
The first one I’m going to show you is You.com. It has come a long way since I started using it sometime last year. To start using it, it is best to sign in with your account and then put in a search query. You will see that it gives you a response in a similar fashion to ChatGPT, and you can also ask follow-up questions to continue your conversation.
Perplexity.ai is another great option. It provides more accurate results compared to ChatGPT. It has a paid plan, but the free plan has no limits. It also gives you references to verify the information it provides.
Bing.com Chats is a familiar option that uses your Edge browser and Bing search engine. It allows you to ask questions and provides references to confirm the responses. It also has a feature called AI Profile, which tailors the responses to your personal profile.
Finally, there is Broad by Google. While it doesn’t fit into the same category as the previous options, it still provides access to the internet and can give you responses to your queries.
