Today we will show you how to resize and compress images in Chargept4.
To begin, click on the settings option in the bottom left corner. Then, navigate to the beta features section where you will find two options. The first option is the plugin feature, which we will cover in our next video. The second option is the code interpreter feature, which allows you to upload any file on Chargept4 and ask for help regarding that file.
When you enable the code interpreter feature, you will see a plus sign next to the search bar. This sign allows you to upload a file. For this demonstration, we will be using an image file. We have asked Chargept4 to resize the image to 500 by 500 pixels and compress it.
Jared mentioned that if the expected ratio distorts the image resolution, then the image height will also change. However, in this case, the image resolution has been maintained without distortion.
After the image has been resized and compressed, you will be asked for permission to download the compressed image. Click on the provided download link to obtain the image.
Next, we will demonstrate how to change the image extension from JPG to PNG. Simply click on the download link and check the image extension.
Finally, we will show you how to crop an image to the perfect size. Again, you will be asked for permission to make changes. Once the image has been cropped, you can check the image size and extension.
In the next video, we will cover more advanced features of Chargept4.
