A Comprehensive Guide to ChatGPT and Mid Journey

A Comprehensive Guide to ChatGPT and Mid Journey

Welcome to the course everyone! My name is Colt, and I’ll be your instructor. We are here to learn all about ChatGPT and Mid Journey, two technologies that have a magical feeling and can be extremely useful. However, like any tool, you need to understand how to use them before you can get anything out of them.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of bad ChatGPT content out there right now. Many people are interested in learning this stuff, and there are ads everywhere convincing you to buy prompts or guides that promise to make you money or solve all your problems. But that’s not what this course is about.

This course focuses on practical use cases for ChatGPT and Mid Journey in the real world. It’s a no BS course that won’t waste your time or lie to you. I’m primarily a teacher and developer, not a salesman or influencer. My goal is to teach you how to get the most out of ChatGPT and Mid Journey.

The course is divided into two main parts. The first part covers ChatGPT, where we learn the basics, such as how it works, the different settings, and the difference between GPT 3.5 turbo and GPT 4. We also explore the elements of a good prompt and learn useful prompt engineering techniques.

The second part focuses on Mid Journey and generating beautiful imagery. We start by temporarily disabling web browsing features in ChatGPT and then move on to using third-party plugins to expand its capabilities. We learn how to summarize YouTube videos, find restaurant reservations, upload and analyze PDFs, and ask questions about documents using plugins.

One of my favorite features in ChatGPT is the code interpreter. You don’t need any coding experience to use it. You can upload your own datasets, videos, images, and PDFs, and ChatGPT will not only write code but also execute it and show you the results. It’s a powerful tool for data analysis and visualization.

For developers, there is a section dedicated to using ChatGPT to improve workflows and code. I’ll teach you how to write functions, shell scripts, and even convert languages using ChatGPT. We’ll also attempt to build a large application using ChatGPT.

Throughout the course, I’ll provide real examples from my own personal chat history to demonstrate the practical use cases of ChatGPT and Mid Journey. By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to make the most of these technologies in your own projects.
