Google Bard or ChatGPT
Today, I am going to show you the differences in the results after asking different questions from Google Bard and ChatGPT. In this video, I will not talk about what Google Bard and ChatGPT are because I assume you already know. So, let’s get to the test.
First of all, I asked questions about the latest information from both ChatGPT and Google Bard. For example, I asked about the hidden features of the iPhone 14 Pro. ChatGPT 3.5 had no knowledge of information after September 2021, but when asked from Google Bard, it gave a wide description about the iPhone 14 Pro hidden features. So, if you want to know this kind of information, use Google Bard instead of ChatGPT.
As another related question, I asked who is the single person with the most YouTube subscribers. ChatGPT was unable to give a correct answer to this question, while Google Bard successfully provided an answer. So, if you want accurate information about YouTube, use Google Bard.
Now, let’s move on to the second test. Here, I am trying to see how the chatbots respond. First, I asked ChatGPT to write a speech about how food can be recycled. ChatGPT wrote me a beautiful speech, but there was only one response. On the other hand, when I asked Google Bard the same question, it showed three responses. If there is a problem with the response, it can be regenerated, shortened, or lengthened. If the answer seems complicated, it can be simplified. However, ChatGPT can only regenerate the response.
Next, I wanted to see how ChatGPT and Google Bard answer unethical questions. It seems difficult for both ChatGPT and Google Bard to answer these questions. For example, when asked about robbing a bank, both chatbots struggled to provide a satisfactory answer. However, when comparing the responses, I found that Google Bard’s answer was better than ChatGPT’s.
Then, I chose a question to see who has the ability to explain something in the simplest way. Quantum physics is one of the most complex subjects in the world. I asked both ChatGPT and Google Bard to explain how even a very young child can easily understand quantum physics. Both of them tried to give the answer in the most simple way, but Google Bard’s answer was more clear and easy to understand.
Moving on, I wanted to see how creative the two chatbots are. I asked both ChatGPT and Google Bard to create a poem. ChatGPT won this test as it created a poem with a better structure and included important words. On the other hand, the poem created by Google Bard was not as impressive.
Chat bots can also be used to generate ideas. I asked for YouTube video title ideas suitable for a vlog channel. ChatGPT gave me 20 great ideas, while Google Bard’s ideas were not very good. So, if you need ideas, ChatGPT is a good option.
Finally, I tested the chat bots’ ability to summarize. Summarizing is something we constantly need. I asked the chat bots to summarize the Game of Thrones TV series in 100 words. Both ChatGPT and Google Bard provided very good summaries. So, in terms of summarizing, both chat bots performed equally well.
In conclusion, ChatGPT and Google Bard are two of the best chat bots. Make sure to use the chat bot that suits your needs. Thanks for watching this video, and see you next time.
