A Comparison of Advanced Data Analysis and Claude for SEO Analysis

I wanted to share my experience with Advanced Data Analysis versus Claude. I was using a list of anonymized SEO insights pages that included the publish date, some Google analytics data, and search keyword data. I uploaded this into Advanced Data Analysis, which provided a description of all the different metrics. I requested help with an SEO analysis and it offered different options for analysis, such as pages with low traffic and page one keywords. After cleaning up the data, it provided lists of pages that met certain thresholds. However, it was unable to visualize the data effectively. It eventually gave me a CSV file, but the list of pages was not great. On the other hand, when I used GPT4 with the same data, it provided tables for the pages, making it easier to analyze. GPT4 also offered additional plugins for visualizations and links. Now, let’s talk about Claude. Unlike GPT4, Claude immediately started giving me recommendations based on a high-level review of the data. It provided recommendations for pages with higher bounce rates, low page one keywords, and low sessions. It acted more like a consulting partner, providing reasoning for its recommendations. It helped me identify more pages and provided optimization tips. It also offered to help with page speed, links, and metadata. However, it lacked access to certain data and occasionally had hallucinations. Overall, I found Claude to be a more consultative partner from the start, but it had some limitations. This initial test showed interesting differences between Claude and GPT4.
